Real equipment, built by CIP. Every project is different. Here's a sample of what we've delivered.
A San Antonio meat processing plant needed a complete, turnkey scale conveyor solution to improve throughput and accuracy on their production line. CIP handled the full scope: system design and 3D engineering, custom stainless conveyor fabrication, scale integration, touchscreen HMI mounting, controls wiring, delivery, and onsite installation and commissioning.
The finished system includes multiple conveyor sections with integrated scale displays, touchscreen workstations, and modular plastic belting , all built to sanitary standards suited for a meat processing environment.
A Texas food manufacturer needed a sanitary stainless steel enclosure to house a CTM 3600a thermal transfer printer applicator on their production line. CIP designed and fabricated the enclosure, conveyor support stand, and all associated controls and wiring. The enclosure features a lift-up lid, full internal wiring, and a stainless finish suited for a food production environment.
Note: CIP scope was the enclosure, support stand, and controls. Conveyors shown were supplied by others.
A Texas meat processor needed a flexible weighing and labeling solution that could move with their operation rather than stay fixed to one location on the floor. Their existing setup lacked mobility and made it difficult to adapt to changing line configurations and product flow.
CIP designed and fabricated a heavy-duty stainless steel mobile stand integrating a touchscreen PC, high-speed thermal label printer, digital weight indicator, and a floor-level scale platform , all on a wheeled frame that moves easily across the facility floor. CIP sourced and procured the PC, printer, and scale components from trusted suppliers, engineered and fabricated the custom stainless steel structure and all mounting hardware, and integrated everything into a single turnkey mobile unit.
A San Antonio bottling and beverage manufacturer needed new conveyor systems and modifications to existing conveyors to improve throughput and product handling efficiency on their production line. CIP handled the full scope from design through delivery and installation.
CIP designed and fabricated new custom conveyors to fit the facility layout, and modified existing conveyors by adding custom-fabricated plastic guards to reduce product loss and improve line flow. All work was engineered and built in-house at the CIP shop in Garden Ridge, TX.
A San Antonio manufacturer needed new load cells fabricated and installed on their existing production equipment. CIP handled the full scope: custom fabricating the load cell mounting hardware to spec, then deploying a field team to install and integrate the new components on-site.
This project is a good example of CIP's combined fabrication and field installation capability. Our team fabricated the custom steel mounting plates and components in our Garden Ridge shop, then completed the on-site installation and welding at the customer's San Antonio facility with minimal disruption to their operation.
This conveyor was originally built and installed by CIP for a food processing facility in the San Antonio corridor. Months after installation, the customer's line plans changed and they needed to add new equipment that the existing incline angle could no longer accommodate.
Rather than replace the unit, the customer brought it back to us. We engineered a pivot modification that allows the incline angle to be adjusted, giving them the flexibility to fit the new equipment configuration into their line without starting over.
Turnaround: Less than one week.
The result was a cost-effective solution that eliminated downtime, preserved a well-built piece of equipment, and got the line running with the new configuration on schedule.
